I got sick during the weekend so staying home was the only option for me. At least, the fruiting tree next to my window was still attracting lots of birds. On Sunday, a good number of Fieldfare came visiting the tree throughout the morning. I still haven’t got any ok shot of this beautiful thrush so far, so I was pleased to see that.
Since most of the fruits on upper branches have already gone, the birds had to come down to lower branches which makes it easier for photography.
This one has overall darkish bill, so it’s probably a first-winter bird?
Song Thrushes were still numerous, but often get bullied by the bigger Fieldfares and Blackbirds, so they’ve somehow become a little shyer.
